The Malaysian Programmes intern will contribute towards the overall programme quality through research, design, analysis and administrative support.
Responsibilities
• Develop a knowledge database for World Vision Malaysia's Malaysian Programmes by researching and collating global as well as national statistics on various sectors: education, child protection, health and nutrition as well as poverty• Assist in data collection, entry, processing and analysis for various projects• Assist in the implementation of the Eat Right to Play Right (Badminton) programme among local communities• Contribute to designing of initiatives, projects or programmes• Prepare relevant Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials as needed• Provide administrative support on an as-needed basis• Other relevant tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor
Requirements
• Currently pursuing a bachelors in Public Health, Medicine, Nutrition Science, Dietetics, Psychology, Public Policy, Education, Social Work or related field• Able to work with minimum supervision and with different teams of people while meeting deadlines• Fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken)• Able to work independently and as part of a team• Sensitive to the different cultures we work with and in• Able to work on some weekends• Knowledge on data analysis software e.g. Epi Info, SPSS is an added advantage
