This role supports the planning and running of community projects guided by Orang Asli priorities. The Project Manager will spend time in communities, build trust, coordinate activities, and help ensure projects run smoothly while staying true to local values and needs.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Orang Asli community leaders, elders, women, and youthSupport communities to plan, carry out, and review development activitiesCoordinate with partners, volunteers, and supportersManage project timelines, simple budgets, and reportsHelp strengthen community skills and confidence for long-term sustainability
Requirements
Experience in community work, project coordination, or grassroots organisingComfortable working in Orang villages and community settingsGood communication skills with a respectful, open approachOrganised, responsible, and able to work independentlyOrang Asli applicants are strongly encouraged to apply
