In this role you will: - Conduct primary and secondary research on target demographics including Indigenous communities, TVET students, and B40 youths - Support programmatic design by interviewing participants, collecting feedback, and contributing to problem identification and solution development - Maintain and update monitoring databases and create data visualization dashboards - Assist in programme evaluation processes and report writing - Learn and apply the Theory of Change and Logic Framework principles - Contribute to instructional design for programme modules - Support project planning and management activities - Handle administrative tasks including data entry and file organisation. Requirements
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to be:- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Developmental Studies, Public Policy, Education, Research Methods or related field (in progress or completed)- Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI etc.) is a plus- Proficiency in using Google Work Space tools e.g. Google Sheets and Google Docs, etc.- High proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal)- Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills- Strong interest in social impact measurement and evaluation- Ability to work independently and in teams- Ability to commit to 4-6 months for full exposure- Ability to work in-person from the office and other areas for programme implementation, including traveling to remote Orang Asli/Orang Asal villages.
